About the Author

The author, Evelyn N. Kehleay- Miller was born in Nimba County Liberia, West Africa. She hails from the Mah Ethnic group and is the fourth female child of her parents. She and her other siblings grew up on their parents’ farm where they learned a lot about agriculture and animal husbandry. When they went to school, they each went into different professions instead of farming, except for one. Reflecting on her formative years with her family, she wrote: “I loved growing up on our farm which was our homestead and I also relish fond memories of my siblings when we were growing up in the nurturing and supportive environment that our parents created for us.”

Evelyn acquired her primary, secondary and college education in Liberia. She attended the University of Liberia where she earned a Bachelor’s degree (BBA in Accounting, 1983).  In America she did additional studies and acquired a Master’s degree in Management with emphasis in Conflict Management in 2015 at Sullivan University Louisville, Kentucky. Evelyn married Mr. Francis S. Miller in 1999. They presently live in Louisville, Kentucky where they have been during the past 19 years.  They are blessed with many children and grandchildren.

Evelyn loves writing.  She has written many essays, poems and poetry. A few of her poems have been published.  Writing About My Dreams is her first book. She hopes that this book will bring inspiration to many.

 Praises for Evelyn's Book

“The word ‘dream’ has many meanings.  I am going with one dictionary definition of
dream as “a series of images, thoughts, or emotions passing through the mind during sleep.”
These images and thoughts may be described as symbols capable of invoking deep secret or strange feelings,
thoughts, or ideas that foreshadow some future events. Those who interpret dreams remind us that dreams
do not have the same meaning for everyone. Evelyn’s dreams represent a potpourri of many different
situations in life’s experiences. In her own way, she tries to explain to her
readers what these dreams mean to her.  Most people
do not remember their dreams nor are they willing to discuss them with others. Evelyn
has taken a bold step to share with others what most people may not be willing or capable of sharing.
Hopefully, the readers will appreciate her efforts and start to pay more attention to their dreams.
I am very proud of my sister for this achievement in writing
her first book. We look forward to more seminal literary productions from you, dear sister.”

Mrs. Marian Kehleay-Webba, Nurse Educator, Lithonia, Georgia

“Evelyn Miller combines her unique cultural and spiritual background to provide insight into
the language of dreams and interpretation.  God speaks to each and every person in unique ways,
including dreams and visions.  Through this narrative, Evelyn encourages and challenges the reader
to embrace and manifest the Creator’s endowment…”

Pastor Moses Foyah Senior Pastor, Living Water Fellowship International (LWFI) Louisville, Kentucky

“Mrs. Evelyn Kehleay-Miller has just raised the bar for some of us who are interested in the subject about
the “
mysterious and fascinating world of dreams, where the rules of reality do not (always) apply.”
The dreamer is always the hero or heroine in his or her own dreams. The truth is, those who are
able to understand and interpret dreams have the potential and the clarity of insight into personal
relationships.  In addition, they also see life from a better and realistic perspective.
Evelyn has achieved all of these.  Evelyn, thank you for helping
us understand the valuable messages
and lessons that are derived from our dreams.”

Rev. Dr. Nya Kwiawon Taryor, Sr. Publisher, Kiiton Press

“Very insightful and intriguing! Being in touch with your dream state is something that most people
consider paranormal but is very real.  Keep up the good work.”

Pastor Sidney W. Morris, UMC,  Maryland USA

"Everybody has a Dream"

The Lyrics to "Everybody has a Dream"

While in these days of quiet desperation
As I wander through the world in which I live
I search everywhere, for some new inspiration
But it's more than cold reality can give

If I need a cause for celebration
Or a comfort I can use to ease my mind
I rely on my imagination
And I dream of an imaginary time

[Chorus: ]
I know that everybody has a dream
Everybody has a dream
And this is my dream, my own
Just to be at home
And to be all alone...with you

If I believe in all the words I'm saying
And if a word from you can bring a better day
Then all I have are these games that I've been playing
To keep my hope from crumbling away

So let me lie and let me go on sleeping
And I will lose myself in palaces of sand
And all the fantasies that I have been keeping
Will make the empty hours easier to stand

[Chorus: ]

Everybody has a dream... (Repeat)
